Today, Rodgers is reportedly returning for another visit.<\/p>\n<p>As first reported by 93.7 The Fan, Rodgers <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/937theFan\/status\/2052369399177265154?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">will be visiting Pittsburgh<\/a> on Thursday. Per 93.7 The Fan, Rodgers is \u201cexpected\u201d to sign with the Steelers this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, in reposting a tweet from 93.7 The Fan, confirms the planned visit. However, Rapoport adds that \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RapSheet\/status\/2052381978066858452?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">no deal is in place<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of whether Rodgers does or doesn\u2019t sign a contract this weekend, it\u2019s finally something \u2014 after several months of nothing. The team\u2019s uncertainty prompted it to place the unrestricted free agent tender on Rodgers last week, a move that both extends the window for compensatory draft-pick consideration if he signs elsewhere and complicates significantly his ability to wait beyond July 22 to see if a better opportunity arises elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>As always when it comes to NFL matters, nothing is done until it\u2019s done.
