The film hails from <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/pinky-promise\/\" id=\"auto-tag_pinky-promise\" data-tag=\"pinky-promise\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pinky Promise<\/a>, Jessamine Burgum and Kara Durrett\u2019s production company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHeatseeking actress and Gen Z icon Racel Sennott co-wrote the script with Rachel and Travis Jackson. Their take on the tabloid sensation follows Fleiss before trial, scrambling around Los Angeles trying to blackmail and leverage various connections to get the case dropped, with the help of an aspiring young writer named Jaclyn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tProduction is set for Los Angeles and will take place this year.\u00a0 Burgum and Durrett will produce for Pinky Promise  and Plaza will produce through her company Evil Hag. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPlaza has recently appeared in Ethan Coen\u2019s \u201cHoney Don\u2019t\u201d alongside Chris Evans and Margaret Qualley, Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s \u201cMegalopolis\u201d and the 2024 Sundance darling \u201cMy Old Ass.\u201d She\u2019ll next be seen in Zack Woods\u2019 directorial debut \u201cThe Accompanist\u201d with Susan Sarandon.
