Has lost some weight. But not enough yet.<\/p>\n<p>Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht said the team still wants him focused exclusively on his weight loss and conditioning before he&#8217;s ready to practice with the team.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have some milestones we want him to hit before we get him out there,&#8221; Licht said. &#8220;He&#8217;s doing a solid job getting there. That&#8217;s all I&#8217;ll say.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Buccaneers have placed Watson on the non-football illness list, and head coach Todd Bowles confirmed that <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/todd-bowles-desmond-watson-is-on-non-football-illness-list-because-of-his-weight\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:his weight is the reason;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">his weight is the reason<\/a>.
