Jessamine Burgum and Kara Durrett will produce for Pinky Promise, alongside Plaza for Evil Hag, with production to take place in Los Angeles this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFleiss became known in the 1990s for running a high-profile prostitution ring that catered to the rich and powerful of Los Angeles, including some in Hollywood. Her empire came crashing down in 1993, when she was arrested and charged with multiple counts, including pandering, and sentenced to prison. The film tracks Fleiss in the tense days leading up to her trial, as she navigates Los Angeles, using her web of connections to try to manipulate and blackmail her way out of the charges, with the assistance of an ambitious young writer named Jaclyn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMost recently appearing in Ethan Coen\u2019s Honey Don\u2019t and Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s Megalopolis, following lauded turns in Sundance\u2019s My Old Ass and The White Lotus Season 2, Plaza will next be seen starring in Ethan Coen and Tricia Cook\u2019s dark comedy,\u00a0Honey Don\u2019\u2019!, which premiered at Cannes and opens in theaters via Focus Features on August 22nd.
