Caitlin Clark<\/a> is facing criticism from some of the WNBA<\/a>‘s fan base for her Saturday night concert appearance.<\/p>\n

The third-year Indiana Fever<\/a> guard lost to the Dallas Wings<\/a> in a season opener on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night, Clark was walking out with Morgan Wallen, ahead of his concert in Indianapolis on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

Wallen has made a habit out of walking out with athletes and celebrities ahead of his concerts. He’s done it with Peyton Manning, Nick Saban<\/a>, Kirby Smart and many other top athletes and coaches.<\/p>\n

But Clark is facing criticism from some for doing it.<\/p>\n

In 2021, Wallen was caught on video using the N-word. Wallen ultimately apologized, explaining that he was on a 72-hour “bender.” He admitted that his language was “unacceptable and inappropriate” and stated there were “no excuses.”<\/p>\n

Wallen faced a lot of backlash at the time, though he’s since bounced back, becoming one of the top artists in the world, selling out arenas and stadiums.<\/p>\n

But WNBA fans are angry with Clark for associating with him.<\/p>\n

WNBA fans speak out on Clark’s appearance<\/p>\n

WNBA fans criticized Clark for her appearance with Wallen.<\/p>\n

“So many of her colleagues are Black women. But she\u2019s fine being cool with the bigot who freely uses the n word,” one WNBA fan wrote in criticism.<\/p>\n

“No one should be shocked by this,” one shared.<\/p>\n

“Her equality act running out , yes show them true colors,” one fan added.<\/p>\n

“Well, that\u2019s disappointing,” one fan added.<\/p>\n

“So she is friends with Dave Portnory, Morgan Wallen, and Bryce Hall…” one fan added.<\/p>\n

“We owe Angel Reese<\/a> an apology,” one added.<\/p>\n

Clark and the Fever, meanwhile, opened the 2026 WNBA regular season on Saturday, falling to the Wings.<\/p>\n
