The Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> completed a sweep of the New York Yankees <\/a>on Sunday with a 4-3 victory, which replicated their score over New York in Saturday\u2019s win.<\/p>\n

The win marks the Brewers\u2019 fourth in a row and 22nd of the season, and there were multiple key moments and performances that led to their victory.<\/p>\n

In the bottom of the ninth inning, it looked as if the Brewers and the Yankees were heading for another extra-innings battle after Joey Ortiz<\/a> and Jackson Chourio<\/a> struck out swinging.<\/p>\n

Down to their final out, Brice Turang stepped up to the plate and proved once again why his stardom is growing.<\/p>\n

Facing a 3-1 count, Turang watched a curveball from Yankees reliever David Bednar<\/a> drop into the strike zone, which he met with authority to send it toward center fielder Trent Grisham<\/a>. Grisham gave chase to the warning track, but abruptly stopped when he realized he did not have a chance at securing the ball.<\/p>\n

Applause erupted inside American Family Field and Turang rounded the bases to complete a walk-off home run on Mother\u2019s Day, marking an emphatic response after striking out in his previous at-bat. His walk-off moment comes 20 years after Bill Hall did it on Mother’s Day in 2006.<\/p>\n

Overall, Turang went 2-for-4 during the afternoon, and the game-winning long ball marked his sixth home run of the season.<\/p>\n

Well before Turang played the hero and sent the Brewers\u2019 faithful into a frenzy with his walk-off solo shot, Milwaukee found itself in need of offense after falling into a 2-0 hole early.<\/p>\n

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the offense delivered.<\/p>\n

The Brewers scored three runs in the bottom of the frame to overcome their deficit and take their first lead of the day. It began with William Contreras<\/a> and Gary Sanchez<\/a> drawing back-to-back walks before Andrew Vaughn<\/a> was hit by a pitch.<\/p>\n

Once the bases were loaded, Contreras tried to get across home plate after Luis Rengifo<\/a> hit a ground ball, but he was forced out at home plate. However, the Brewers were able to get on the board after a sacrifice fly ball by Garrett Mitchell<\/a> scored Sanchez.<\/p>\n

After a wild pitch advanced Vaughn and Rengifo, Blake Perkins<\/a> hit a two-out, two-RBI single to center field to give Milwaukee the lead.<\/p>\n

After right-hander Logan Henderson<\/a> got the start for the Brewers and went five innings while striking out five batters and allowing four hits, two earned runs, and a walk, it was time for the relievers to take over and keep things under control.<\/p>\n

Manager Pat Murphy deployed four bullpen arms to get his team through the rest of the game: DL Hall<\/a>, Trevor Megill<\/a>, Aaron Ashby<\/a>, and Abner Uribe<\/a>. The four combined for five more strikeouts while allowing four walks, two hits, and one earned run.<\/p>\n

Uribe closed the game, and he got the winning decision to bring him to 2-1 on the year.<\/p>\n

After dismantling one of baseball\u2019s hottest teams, the Brewers will return to action on Tuesday when they host the San Diego Padres<\/a>.<\/p>\n
