Director Justin Tipping wants to know \u201cWhat would you sacrifice to become the greatest of all time?\u201d in the official trailer for HIM<\/a>. The horror movie, starring Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers, explores the inner sanctum of fame, idolatry, and the pursuit of excellence at any cost.<\/p>\n Produced by Jordan Peele, the ominous film is set to hit theaters on Sept. 19, 2025. Withers stars as Cameron Cade, a rising star quarterback who has devoted his life and identity to football. Ahead of a professional football annual scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by an unhinged fan and suffers a potentially career-ending brain trauma injury.<\/p>\n Wayans fulfils the role of Isaiah White, Cade\u2019s lifelong hero. White is described as a legendary eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural megastar. He offers to train Cade at his isolated compound that he shares with his celebrity influencer wife, Elsie White, played by Julia Fox. As the training accelerates, White\u2019s charisma, brought to life by Wayans, begins to curdle into something darker, sending his prot\u00e9g\u00e9 down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost\u00a0him\u00a0more than he ever bargained for.<\/p>\n Alongside the aforementioned cast<\/a>, HIM stars Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, plus MMA heavyweight fighter Maurice Greene and rappers Guapdad 4000 and Grammy nominee Tierra Whack, all three in their feature film debuts.<\/p>\n Peele, Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld, and Jamal M. Watson also produce for Monkeypaw Productions. David Kern and Monkeypaw\u2019s Kate Oh executive produce. The film comes with Universal\u2019s five-year, first-look deal with Peele and Monkeypaw that was announced in 2019.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt would not have been possible to make Get Out and Us without the endless trust and support we received from Donna Langley and the team at Universal,\u201d relayed Peele at the time. \u201cTheir willingness to take risks and their commitment to original content makes them the perfect collaborative partner for Monkeypaw.
