Ogden four-star offensive tackle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/cameron-wagner-241683\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cameron Wagner<\/a> announced his commitment to Oregon on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The blue-chipper chose the Ducks over Illinois, Notre Dame and Wisconsin. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/oregon-ducks\/football\/2027\/commits\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">becomes commit No. 13<\/a> for head coach Dan Lanning and the Big Ten powerhouse in the 2027 class.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe biggest reason, it\u2019s a simple answer, the coaching staff and dudes on the team there I feel I can fit in there and thrive as a player and as a person as as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Offensive line coach A\u2019lique Terry led the charge in recruiting Wagner who was recruited by the top programs from coast to cast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have confidence in Coach Terry to develop me as a player,\u201d Wagner said. \u201cThat offensive line room, they\u2019re all great coaches there. They have a big offensive line staff there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wagner loves the trajectory of an Oregon program that won the Big Ten championship two years ago and played in the College Football Playoff Final Four in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Coach Lanning is the best coach in college football and can develop anyone into a great player,\u201d Wagner said.<\/p>\n<p>Wagner joins an Oregon recruiting class that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/rankings\/industry-team\/football\/2027\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rivals previously ranked No. 8 nationally<\/a>. He is the third offensive lineman joining Gus Corsair and Avery Michael.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really good friends with them,\u201d Wagner added.<\/p>\n<p>The Rivals Industry ranks Wagner as the nation\u2019s No. 26 offensive tackle and No. 289 prospect overall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Saint Joseph (Ill.)
