The New York Liberty<\/a> are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire<\/a> in an interconference matchup.<\/p>\n

New York<\/a> enters Tuesday\u2019s game with a 2-0 record after defeating the Washington Mystics<\/a> on the road in overtime on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

In Sunday\u2019s victory over the Mystics, Breanna Stewart led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists while Marine Johannes added 25 points and two assists of her own.<\/p>\n

Now New York will try to extend their winning streak to three games to being the season on Tuesday as they face off against the Fire on the road.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Portland enters Tuesday\u2019s contest with a 0-1 record after losing at home to the Chicago Sky<\/a> on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Carla Leite led the way for the Fire in Saturday\u2019s loss as she ended the game with 18 points, three rebounds and three assists while Bridget Carleton<\/a> recorded 13 points and four assists.<\/p>\n

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night\u2019s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.<\/p>\n

For the Liberty, they have six players listed on their injury report, including both Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally.<\/p>\n

New York has ruled out Ionescu due to a left foot injury as she will miss her third straight game to being the season and she is expected to miss at least another week.<\/p>\n

The good news for the Liberty is that Ionescu did rejoin the team in Portland for Tuesday\u2019s game after she missed Sunday\u2019s game in Washington D.C.<\/p>\n

The Liberty have also ruled out Sabally as she is away from the team due to a cyst as she will miss her third consecutive contest.<\/p>\n

Rebecca Allen has also been ruled out as she remains sidelined with a left leg injury while Marine Fauthoux is out while recovering from ACL surgery.<\/p>\n

Raquel Carrera and Leonie Fiebich have also been ruled out as they are both away from the team due to overseas commitments.<\/p>\n

Fire Injury Report: Will Sug Sutton<\/a> Play?<\/p>\n

On the other side, the Fire have three players listed on their injury report, including guard Sug Sutton.<\/p>\n
