(Ivan Morozov)<\/p>\n<p>After a successful week of recruiting, I saw a few headlines about how Virginia Tech football\u2019s recruiting class currently ranks in the top 20.<\/p>\n<p>I appreciate the hot start, and I\u2019m definitely encouraged about recruiting with James Franklin in charge. However, it\u2019s a little bit disingenuous to be doing any chest-thumping about recruiting rankings this early in the cycle.<\/p>\n<p>As we know, recruiting rankings are as much about quantity as quality, and as of Monday, the Hokies have 11 commitments, which ranks third in the ACC.
