Simmons and Anna Lambe, will release in theaters on September 25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film will open against\u00a0Forgotten Island, a DreamWorks title starring Dave Franco and Jenny Slate, and a re-release of Marvel\u2019s\u00a0Avengers: Endgame.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWritten by Cameron Alexander,\u00a0Heart of the Beast\u00a0follows a former Army Special Forces Soldier and his retired combat dog who battle for survival after a plane crash deep in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe project reunites Pitt and Ayer for the first time since\u00a0Fury, their 2014 WWII drama for Sony, and comes following Pitt\u2019s starring role in the Oscar-nominated Apple flick\u00a0F1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tProducers on the project included Olivia Hamilton, Marty Bowen, Ayer and Pitt.
