SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Throughout the month of May, The Helpline Center is partnering with the Suicide Prevention Task Force in Sioux Falls to promote: \u201cMore Good Days, Together\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Helpline Center says having \u201cmore good days\u201d doesn\u2019t mean to pretend every day is perfect, but a good day can be found in small, meaningful moments.<\/p>\n
The Helpline Center invites the community to create more moments of support and understanding for mental health awareness, including through the following events:<\/p>\n
988 Yard Signs – community members are invited to display free 988 yard signs to promote mental wellness. Signs can be requested online or picked up at the Helpline Center office in Sioux Falls.Arc of Dreams Green Lighting – The Suicide Prevention Task Force will light the Arc of Dreams on Friday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. to raise awareness for mental health.<\/p>\n
\u201cMental Health Awareness Month gives us a meaningful opportunity to support one another, spread awareness, and share vital resources with our communities,\u201d said Janet Kittams, CEO of the Helpline Center. \u201cTogether, we can create a culture where mental health is prioritized, and no one feels alone.\u201d<\/p>\n
