The game even retains ray tracing and other graphical features present in other versions.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the full roundup of tidbits:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Targets 30 FPS instead of 60<br \/>\u2013 Screen space reflections kept in place for the Switch 2 port<br \/>\u2013 Contact shadows retained as well<br \/>\u2013 Ray traced global illumination is intact<br \/>\u2013 RTGI matches the series S, and in some situations, slightly exceeds it<br \/>\u2013 Variable rate shading included to help maintain the frame rate, which adaptively compresses portions of detail within a frame<br \/>\u2013 Unique CPU optimizations included<br \/>\u2013 The team spent a lot of time looking into compression systems for textures, audio, and save files<br \/>\u2013 Switch 2 textures match Xbox Series S without the high-quality texture pack installed<br \/>\u2013 Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has dynamic 540p to 1080p resolution when docked with DLSS<br \/>\u2013 Portable mode is 360p to 720p with DLSS<br \/>\u2013 Resolution is better compared to Xbox Series S overall<br \/>\u2013 Switch 2 is weaker with aliasing<br \/>\u2013 Engine\u2019s feature set is intact on Switch 2<br \/>\u2013 Switch 2 shadow quality is a drawback<br \/>\u2013 This is reduced further in portable mode<br \/>\u2013 Object quality also dropped on Switch 2<br \/>\u2013 Switch 2 makes some extra compromises with draw distances such as more aggressive geometry pop-in<br \/>\u2013 Lower LODs while playing in portable mode<br \/>\u2013 Indiana Jones and the Great Circle frame rate drops in cutscenes<br \/>\u2013 When you start engaging with multiple enemies in the Vatican and start sprinting between areas quickly, the frame rate can go down to the mid 20s<\/p>\n<p>View the full Indiana Jones and the Great Circle tech analysis for more on the game\u2019s frame rate, resolution, and other details.<\/p>\n<p>Tech Analysis<\/p>\n<p>Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.
