\n\tSpencer Pratt<\/a> defended his featuring of a trailer on his burned out Pacific Palisades property and telling viewers, \u201cThis is where I live.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday, TMZ reported that Pratt was not living in the Airstream trailer, but has been staying at the Hotel Bel-Air. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with the site, Pratt was asked <\/a>by Harvey Levin about a campaign ad that \u201cmade it seem that you were living in that trailer. It was a high point of the commercial. But you\u2019re at the Hotel Bel-Air.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat is where I will live until I have a new house,\u201d Pratt said. \u201cThe Airstream is a temporary facility. A hotel is a temporary facility. Where my kids are in Santa Barbara right now is a temporary housing. This is where I live. This is where they burned my house down.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cI don\u2019t live at the Hotel Bel-Air. I don\u2019t live in the Airstream. I don\u2019t live in Santa Barbara. I don\u2019t have a house. They burned it down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe said that his security team advised him not to stay in the Airstream after he received threats.<\/p>\n

\n\tMuch of Pratt\u2019s campaign has focused on the devastating fires in the Palisades last year and has attacked the response of Mayor Karen Bass<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, with less than three weeks before the Los Angeles mayoral primary, candidates are taking in some late-in-the-game contributions.<\/p>\n

\n\tPratt was feted earlier this week at the home of David Foster<\/a> and Katharine McPhee<\/a>, with the latter singing a song with words tied to the current campaign, per video posted<\/a> by One America News Network\u2019s Alicia Summers. (A hat tip to Vanity Fair).<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing last week\u2019s mayoral debate between Bass, Councilwoman Nithya Raman and Pratt, a new poll from Emerson College showed the reality star in second place, with 22% support, to Bass\u2019 30%. Raman drew 19%. The poll is of 350 voters with a margin of error of 5.2%.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe top two finishers will go on to the general election if no candidate clears 50%.<\/p>\n

\n\tPratt has drawn extensive media attention since the debate, particularly in conservative media. But he recently drew a contribution from Haim Saban<\/a>, who has been a longtime Democratic fundraiser and donor known for his steadfast support of Israel. Saban gave $1,800 and his wife, Cheryl, gave the same amount, with contributions dated from last Friday. Other recent donors include Justine Bateman, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Brett Ratner and Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group.<\/p>\n
