(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waff.com\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WAFF<\/a>) &#8211; Students at Madison County High School showcased their virtual reality projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Students spent the entire school year working in the KTECH VR Academy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The project showcased the students\u2019 skills in computer science, programming, and team-building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Leaders said the program helps students pursue a STEM career in a fun way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWhat they don\u2019t realize they\u2019re learning are computer skills and teamwork,\u201d KTECH VR Academy President Lee Marshall said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cFor them to be able to work together strategically as a team, to set a goal and work toward it, and to achieve it successfully as a team and put that on display today, to me, those are life skills that they will take into our local workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As part of the curriculum, students earn a computer science credit that they can transfer to any two-year or four-year university.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@waff48news\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@waff48news\">Click Here to Subscribe on YouTube:<\/a> Watch the latest WAFF 48 news, sports &amp; weather videos on our YouTube channel!<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WAFF.
