Things may not be all lovey-dovey between Stefon Diggs and Cardi B after all.<\/p>\n

But the famed rapper had an explanation for what went down on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The two were seen in the middle of a tense argument outside a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, Md., just days after the wide receiver kissed Cardi during a Mother\u2019s Day event<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Videos posted to social media, as published by TMZ<\/a>, showed the Diggs, 32, and Cardi, 33, in a heated exchange, with Cardi gesturing at the wideout.<\/p>\n

Diggs, a free agent after being released by the Patriots a month after their Super Bowl 2026 loss<\/a>, appeared to be unfazed in one video circulating on social media.<\/p>\n

A video from a different angle appeared to show a person waving away someone who had tried to approach the two celebs.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t immediately clear what the pair had been fighting about and TMZ reported that Cardi B had been overheard saying, \u201cThat bitch is messy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet also reported the fight went on for at least 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

Later, on X, Cardi appeared to downplay the argument.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes I forget I\u2019m a celebrity\u2026 damn y\u2019all ain\u2019t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?\u201d she wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Diggs and Cardi made their relationship Instagram official in June, and they ended things at some point prior to the Super Bowl in February.<\/p>\n

However, the two were all loved up during a Diggs Deep Foundation Mother\u2019s Day wellness event in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Diggs, who shares a son with the rapper, was seen kissing Cardi on the cheek and putting his arm around her waist.<\/p>\n

A report from US Weekly<\/a> this week indicated that Cardi had decided to give DIggs a second chance and that the two had been in \u201ccloser contact lately.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source told the outlet that \u201cthings are no longer contentious\u201d and that Cardi B \u201cis not fully committing\u201d to Diggs at the moment.<\/p>\n
