ROCHESTER, N.Y. \u2014 A documentary film called \u201cCity Mark: A Rochester Icon\u201d is coming to the big screen this spring and summer. The film explores the origin, evolution, and lasting impacts of Rochester\u2019s City Mark symbol.<\/p>\n
The film will feature archival footage, local voices, and new interviews to show the journey of the design.<\/p>\n
ScreeningsThe film will have multiple screenings at the Flower Fest<\/a> on June 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., in High Falls. The Little Theatre will screen the film on the following dates: Sunday, July 5, at an early matinee, Wednesday, July 8, evening, and Monday, July 13, early evening.Movies with a Downtown View<\/a> will screen the film on Sept. 25, at 7 p.m., at Parcel 5.<\/p>\n The design was created in the 1970\u2019s, aiming to symbolize identity, pride, and belonging.
