The New York Liberty<\/a> are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire<\/a> in an interconference matchup.<\/p>\n

New York enters Thursday\u2019s game with a 2-1 record after losing on the road to Portland on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

In Tuesday\u2019s loss to the Fire, Pauline Astier led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 24 points, five rebounds and three assists while Breanna Stewart<\/a> added 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks of her own.<\/p>\n

Now New York will try to bounce back on Thursday as they face off against the Fire on the road once again.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Portland enters Thursday\u2019s contest with a 1-1 record after defeating the Liberty at home on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Bridget Carleton led the way for the Fire in Tuesday\u2019s victory as she ended the game with 26 points and four steals while Carla Leite<\/a> recorded 21 points, four rebounds and six assists.<\/p>\n

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night\u2019s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.<\/p>\n

For the Liberty, they have six players listed on their injury report, including both Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally.<\/p>\n
