The company teased that this would be one of the biggest years for the platform, and it delivered with the announcement of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/gemini-intelligence-3665302\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gemini Intelligence<\/a>. The rollout of Gemini Intelligence to Android phones is scheduled to start this summer. However, its list of demanding requirements means it will only be available for the most advanced devices.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t want to miss the best from Android Authority?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/andauth.co\/AAGooglePreferredSource\" class=\"e_pn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\"><img class=\"e_rg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/google_preferred_source_badge_light@2x.png\"\/><img class=\"e_rg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/google_preferred_source_badge_dark@2x.png\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before going any further, let\u2019s first explain what Gemini Intelligence is. Gemini Intelligence is an umbrella term that refers to Google\u2019s most advanced AI features. Some examples of this include Gboard\u2019s new voice-to-text \u201cRambler\u201d feature; an enhanced version of Chrome auto-fill, which can handle more complicated forms; and Create My Widget.<\/p>\n<p>If you were excited by the announcement this week, you may want to prepare yourself for the requirements. According to the footnotes on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.android.com\/gemini-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gemini Intelligence landing page<\/a>, this will be something only for the most premium of Android phones.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, it mentions that you\u2019ll need at least 12GB of RAM. This requirement alone knocks out most older Pixel phones, except for the Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9 series, and Pixel 10 series. It also mentions that you\u2019ll need support for AI Core and Gemini Nano v3 or higher. As Android Authority contributor <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AssembleDebug\/status\/2055328501348413639\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">AssembleDebug<\/a> points out, Google has a list of what devices currently support Nano v3 on its <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/ml-kit\/genai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">developer page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"e_rg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"Nano v3 supported devices\"  alt=\"Nano v3 supported devices\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Nano-v3-supported-devices.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>AssembleDebug \/ Android Authority<\/p>\n<p>Most of the devices that have Nano v3 support were released in 2026. However, the Pixel 10 series and the OPPO Find X9 series are the odd ones out. Meanwhile, this means that the Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 9 series will all miss out on Gemini Intelligence. It also looks like Samsung\u2019s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and TriFold won\u2019t be getting it either.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being part of our community.
