It’s a blockbuster night of action in Toronto and Montreal, with several of the world’s best players vying for a spot in tomorrow’s Canadian Open finals.<\/p>\n

07:26 CET – Ben Shelton<\/a> completes the lineup in tomorrow’s Canadian Open finals, with the fourth seed proving too strong for Taylor Fritz<\/a> in an all-American showdown in Toronto.<\/p>\n

Shelton sealed a 6-4, 6-3<\/a> victory in just 79 minutes, becoming the youngest American man to reach a Masters 1000 final since Andy Roddick in 2004.<\/p>\n

05:15 CET – Naomi Osaka<\/a> is heading to the final in Montreal as she ends Clara Tauson<\/a>‘s incredible run 6-2, 7-6<\/a>. This marks Osaka’s return to a Masters final for the first time since 2022!<\/p>\n

04:20 CET – After almost three hours, Karen Khachanov<\/a> upsets Alexander Zverev<\/a> 6-3, 4-6, 7-6<\/a>, with the final frame lasting almost 90 minutes. This is Khachanov’s first top-10 win of 2025 and now his 11th career final!<\/p>\n

03:00 CET –\u00a0Victoria Mboko<\/a> pulls off the incredible upset! She defeats Elena Rybakina<\/a> 1-6, 7-5, 7-6<\/a> and advances to the finals in Montreal. Mboko defeated three Grand Slam champions on her way to the finals in her home country of Canada.\u00a0<\/p>\n

23:47 CET – The action will get underway in just under 20 minutes, when Elena Rybakina<\/a> looks to reach the final of the Canadian Open for the first time. She reached the final four two years ago, but couldn’t progress any further.<\/p>\n

She’ll be up against the crowd tonight, with them sure to cheer on home hero Victoria Mboko<\/a>. The 18-year-old has stolen the show at this tournament thus far, and will be in with a real chance of being seeded for the US Open if she wins.<\/p>\n

First up on the women’s side of the tournament in Montreal, ninth seed Elena Rybakina<\/a> takes on home favourite and teenage sensation Victoria Mboko<\/a>, who has stunned former Grand Slam champions Coco Gauff<\/a> and Sofia Kenin<\/a> en route to the final four.\u00a0That clash is due to get underway at 00:00 CET.<\/p>\n

The other women’s semi-final sees talented Dane Clara Tauson<\/a> face a resurgent Naomi Osaka<\/a>, as the four-time Grand Slam champion targets her first WTA title since returning from maternity leave last year.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Toronto, Taylor Fritz<\/a> and Ben Shelton<\/a> face off in a heavyweight all-American showdown at 02:30 CET, as both men look to qualify for their biggest final of the year.<\/p>\n

Before that match, top seed Alexander Zverev<\/a> comes up against Karen Khachanov<\/a> in what is the German’s 21st appearance in a Masters semi-final.<\/p>\n

Zverev leads the head-to-head 5-2, including wins in their last three meetings.<\/p>\n
