A 21-year-old man is in custody after authorities say he broke an infant’s femur during a family incident.<\/p>\n
SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A 21-year-old man was taken into custody after authorities said an infant suffered a broken femur during an incident involving a family member.<\/p>\n
Around 10:30 p.m. on May 15, deputies received reports that an infant had sustained a broken leg bone.<\/p>\n
After arriving at the scene, BCSO says investigators determined that a family member of the child became upset with the infant and forcibly pressed on the child\u2019s femur, causing the bone to break.<\/p>\n
Authorities identified the relative as Jonathan Moreno.<\/p>\n
Officials urged anyone who feels overwhelmed or fears they may harm a child to seek help from a trusted family member, friend or local law enforcement agency before a situation escalates into serious injury or death.<\/p>\n
