\n\tIt\u2019s not an SNL<\/a> closer unless there\u2019s a Joke Swap. The time-honored Weekend Update<\/a> tradition sees co-anchors Colin Jost<\/a> and Michael Che<\/a> trading jabs they wrote for each other. In no-holds-barred bits from the past, everything \u2014 and everyone \u2014 is game, including Jost\u2019s wife, two-time Oscar-nominated actress Scarlett Johansson<\/a>, and the late-nighter\u2019s trusty steward himself, Lorne Michaels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis time around, the casualty was not a person so much as a prized possession: Jost\u2019s \u201caward-winning\u201d hair. After trading provocative jokes (see the highlights below), Che goaded Jost into reading out a particularly offensive one \u2014 \u201cYe can make awful music, but still be right about Hitler.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTo make up for the risqu\u00e9 joke, Jost then read from the cue card that he would be \u201csacrificing\u201d his signature coif. \u201cThat\u2019s right: I\u2019m shaving it off,\u201d he promised. \u201cSend in the barber!\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWhen a barber materialized from off screen with clippers and a black cape, Jost continued: \u201cJerome, make me unpretty!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was Che who held him back, as Jerome got closer to Jost\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou was really gonna do it?\u201d Che questioned. \u201cMan, you are the greatest comedian of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was so scared,\u201d Jost admitted. (Later on, during curtain call, Jost could be seen on stage wearing a bald cap<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n\tThe swap \u2014 which mostly falls along the lines of making Jost appear racist and Che appear like a sexual predator \u2014 was off to an auspicious start when Jost was forced to comment on Michael B. Jordan\u2019s Oscar win, saying that difference between a Black vampire and white vampire is that the former \u201csucks dry \u2026 the welfare state.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tContinuing on, Jost\u2019s flailing ferry once again took center stage as he read out: \u201cI have a beautiful ferry to give any Black person a one-way trip to the motherland.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Che was forced to comment on the controversies of the Michael biopic: \u201cMichael Jackson did nothing wrong. He was right to molest all those kids,\u201d he read out. \u201cWhen I was 10 years old, Michael Jackson molested me and \u2026 gave me a fetish for middle-aged white women.\u201d As an aside, Che clarified: \u201cThat is not why I have that.<\/p>\n
