A body was found in Greens Bayou on Saturday night near Interstate 10 in east Houston, according to preliminary information from the Houston Police Department.<\/p>\n
A fisher called to report the body at around 6:20 p.m. near the 13300 block of the East Freeway near the\u00a0Uvalde Road exit, police said. The caller said the body appeared to be that of a naked man. Northeast patrol division officers and a dive team responded and found the body, police said. The scene was near the Market at\u00a0Uvalde \u2014 a commercial lot with a Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Cavender’s Boot City and more.<\/p>\n
The individual’s identity and cause of death were not immediately available. The medical examiner typically releases that information, but the office did not immediately return a request for information Sunday.<\/p>\n
