{"id":64927,"date":"2025-08-07T11:01:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T11:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/64927\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T11:01:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T11:01:12","slug":"manufacturing-stuck-in-slow-growth-despite-increased-shipments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/64927\/","title":{"rendered":"Manufacturing stuck in slow growth despite increased shipments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shipments of durable goods manufactured in the U.S. moved back above $600 billion in nominal terms in June, regaining the output first reached in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>While this is good news, it\u2019s clear that the country\u2019s manufacturing sector is stuck in a period of slow growth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/realeconomy.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/NEW-MM-AUG7.png\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-26455 size-mailchimp-images\" src=\"https:\/\/realeconomy.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/NEW-MM-AUG7-560x371.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"371\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To that point, surveys by the regional Federal Reserve banks showed reduced activity during the first half of 2025 and only mixed results in July.
