The week began with a fierce battle between Jaylen Brown<\/a> of the Boston Celtics<\/a> and ESPN\u2019s Stephen A. Smith. Essentially, Brown<\/a> called out the journalistic integrity of Smith<\/a> on his Twitch livestream by saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cF*** Stephen A,\u201d Brown bluntly stated. \u201cMy offer still stands. You want me to be quiet and stop streaming. I want you to be quiet and get off these networks. You\u2019re not using your platform to do real journalism. You\u2019re using your platform to use clickbait.\u201d<\/p>\n

Naturally, Smith fired back<\/a> at Brown on Monday\u2019s episode of ESPN<\/a>\u2019s First Take. He virtually attacked the quality of Brown\u2019s Twitch livestreams and offered some \u201cfriendly\u201d advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cGet your a*s a studio. You looking like you in some dungeon in some little room\u2026 You making $54 million a year\u2026 get a studio with a director & a producer. \u2026 Stop being so damn cheap. You got the money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lately, Smith and Brown have been feuding. It all began after the Celtics blew a 3-1 lead<\/a> to the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> in the first round of the playoffs. Smith threw the first punch by calling out Brown for going on his livestream<\/a> following the loss.<\/p>\n

Afterward, Brown went on his livestream and called for Smith to retire. After the Celtics were eliminated in the playoffs, Smith said that Brown should be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The feud could be traced back to 2024. Brown threw shade<\/a> at Smith by wearing a t-shirt that read \u201cState your Source\u201d during the Celtics\u2019 2024 championship parade. This was after Smith had questioned Brown\u2019s marketability as a star player.<\/p>\n
