Mahoney spent fifteen years at \u201c103.1 The Buzz\u201d WPBZ West Palm Beach from 1996 to 2011 rising from a part-time host to APD\/MD\/Afternoon host. After a stint programming \u201cModern Rock 98.7\u201d WRMR Wilmington NC, he joined KXTE in 2016 as PD\/afternoon host until being cut in September 2020 He then returned to Audacy as Regional Vice President of Alternative Programming overseeing KXTE, WQMP Orlando, WSFS Miami, KBZT San Diego and KRBZ Kansas City from July 2022 until July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Host Dave Farra said, \u201cWe are incredibly excited to have Ross join the show His skillset, his talent, and his apparent belief that he outranks everyone in the building are going to make for great radio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ross Mahoney commented, \u201cThe opportunity to join The Dave &amp; Mahoney Morning Show and co-opt their success as a huge win for myself was something too good to pass up.
