OGDEN \u2014 Bank of Utah is inviting photographers from across the state to submit images highlighting Utah\u2019s landscapes, outdoor recreation and culture as part of the bank\u2019s seventh annual \u201cMy Utah\u201d Photo Contest.<\/p>\n
The contest opened May 11 and will accept entries through July 6 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Both amateur and professional photographers are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n
Participants are asked to submit photos answering the question, \u201cMy Utah is ____,\u201d with entries ranging from mountain scenery and red rock landscapes to skiing, hiking and other outdoor activities.<\/p>\n
Contest winners will receive cash prizes and publication opportunities through Bank of Utah\u2019s annual photo contest calendar.<\/p>\n
The first-place winner will receive $500, a feature on Bank of Utah billboards and the front cover of the bank\u2019s annual calendar. Second place will receive $300, while third place will receive $200. Nine honorable mention entries will also be featured in the calendar.<\/p>\n
In addition, the contest\u2019s \u201cBest in Show\u201d award \u2014 determined by top votes \u2014 includes a $150 prize and a back-cover feature in the calendar.<\/p>\n
Bank of Utah plans to announce winners July 13. Selected photos will also be highlighted through the bank\u2019s \u201cFeature Fridays\u201d series on Instagram.<\/p>\n

All winners, honorable mentions and the Best in Show recipient will receive complimentary copies of the annual calendar.<\/p>\n
