As a junior in 2025, Barnes ran for 217 yards as a primarily a short-yardage back. <\/p>\n<p>With the season-ending injury to Oregon State transfer <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclonefanatic.com\/2026\/05\/rb-salahadin-allah-out-for-season-with-achilles-injury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Salahadin Allah<\/a> and the recent departure of depth piece Jayden Jackson, Barnes becomes the eighth available running back available for the 2026 season.
