Rory McIlroy wasn\u2019t a fan of the setup at Aronimink<\/a>, as he complained about the field being too bunched.<\/p>\n Photo by Emilee Chinn\/Getty Images<\/p>\n Scottie Scheffler<\/a> highlighted the difficulty of some of the pin positions throughout the PGA Championship, while Shane Lowry<\/a> was left confused by the challenge presented at times.<\/p>\n So given the fact that so many of the best players in the world struggled, it\u2019s really interesting to see how a one-handicap amateur got on when given the chance to play one day after the PGA finished.<\/p>\n What a one-handicap amateur shot at Aronimink the day after the PGA<\/p>\n Gabby Herzig managed to secure herself a tee time at Aronimink on Monday the day after the PGA Championship finished.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Before she took to the golf course she bumped into Gary Player, who urged her to \u2018Say a prayer\u2019, in a nod to the difficulty of the Aronimink layout.<\/p>\n Herzig \u2013 a golf writer for The Athletic \u2013 is a one-handicap golfer.<\/p>\n So she is obviously a very good player.<\/p>\n Photo by David Cannon\/Getty Images<\/p>\n However, Aronimink takes no prisoners.
