The finale will mark the end of both Colbert\u2019s 11-year tenure and the Late Show franchise\u2019s 33-year run. The show\u2019s final week features notable guests, including Jon Stewart, Steven Spielberg, David Byrne, and Bruce Springsteen.<\/p>\n However, CBS remains tight-lipped about who will appear in the actual finale episode. Details about the final broadcast\u2019s guest stars are being kept under wraps.<\/p>\n David Letterman\u2019s 2015 CBS farewell offers some franchise precedent for an extended runtime.
