COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) \u2014 Graduating seniors at Hilliard Darby High School got an unexpected treat thanks in part to a scheduling conflict with Bruno Mars of all people.<\/p>\n
Since Mars’ \u201cRomantic Tour\u201d was announced<\/a>, particularly his May 20 performance in Columbus, the students have lobbied for Mars to change the date<\/a> because they were scheduled to graduate on the same day, and they were hoping he could make a surprise visit.<\/p>\n Senior Class President Alex Eldridge led the effort and created a TikTok account that students used to post daily videos in an attempt to recruit Mars to make an appearance at their graduation.<\/p>\n The school moved its graduation up a day and the ceremony took place Tuesday night at the Schottenstien Center.
