Ray Romano makes $18 million a year in residuals from his beloved show \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond,\u201d according to Vanity Fair<\/a> and Forbes.<\/a><\/p>\n

Both outlets reported the staggering amount in 2012, seven years after the sitcom<\/a> ended.<\/p>\n

Vanity Fair noted that Romano\u2019s earnings were coming from syndication deals.<\/p>\n

At the time, Vanity Fair ranked Romano as one of TV\u2019s highest-paid actors despite \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d no longer being on the air. <\/p>\n

The other male actors on the list included Ashton Kutcher, Tim Allen, Patrick Dempsey, Hugh Laurie and Mark Harmon, who were all starring in popular shows at that point.<\/p>\n

Romano currently is worth $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 68-year-old actor played sportswriter Ray Barone on all nine seasons of the CBS sitcom, starring alongside Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts and Peter Doyle.<\/p>\n

For the final season of the show, Romano set a Guinness World Record as the highest-paid TV actor per episode, pulling in nearly $2 million for each episode. <\/p>\n

Romano\u2019s salary sparked behind-the-scenes drama as Garrett led the rest of the cast to negotiate raises once they learned Romano was making so much more money than them.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was inevitable,\u201d Romano told the Daily News<\/a> in 2003. \u201cWhen my salary came out in the papers, I knew stuff would happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Emmy winner admitted that he would\u2019ve done \u201cthe same thing\u201d as his co-stars, who got their pay raises for the final season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t hold anything against anyone, not the cast or CBS. I\u2019m loyal to both of them,\u201d Romano said. \u201cI wanted it to get resolved, but I knew it had to play its course.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u00a0\u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d\u00a0cast, including Romano, Garrett and Heaton, reunited in November <\/a>for the show\u2019s 30th anniversary special, which honored late stars Roberts and Boyle.<\/p>\n

A few months earlier, Romano exclusively told The Post at another 30th anniversary event for the show that there won\u2019t be a reboot.<\/a><\/p>\n

Romano said that since Roberts and Boyle are both dead, a revival of the series wouldn\u2019t make sense. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re all heartbroken. They\u2019re a big part of the show, the dynamic,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n

Romano added, \u201cWithout them, I don\u2019t know what the dynamic is.
