Rapper Suga walked with a noticeable limp at times during BTS\u2019 Sunday show at Stanford Stadium<\/a>. But the issue wasn\u2019t due to a performance injury \u2014 unbeknownst to the sellout crowd of 50,000, he\u2019d run San Francisco\u2019s Bay to Breakers race earlier that morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The shocking lore drop came courtesy of his fellow members on a Tuesday night\u00a0livestream after the last of their three Stanford shows. RM mentioned Suga regularly runs 10K a day and, when he heard about the famous San Francisco race, decided to enter. Suga apparently woke up at 6 a.m., ran the race, then returned to Palo Alto to prepare for the evening\u2019s show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans quickly combed through Bay to Breakers photos and videos and, sure enough, Suga is in many of them. He was among the first wave of runners who took off from the Embarcadero at 7 a.m., sandwiched between runners in Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes. Dressed like any other serious runner in a blue cap, black pullover and gray shorts, he went seemingly unnoticed by the people beside him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Race results, under his real name Min Yunki<\/a>, show he finished the 12K course, which winds through San Francisco\u2019s hills to end at Ocean Beach, in 1:04:43, averaging a 8:41 min\/mile pace. He was 1,022 overall among all finishers. But none of the other runners had a two-hour, high intensity concert a few hours later. During Sunday\u2019s sound check, Suga kept stretching, and at times during the show, he limped into dance positions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For fans hoping to see more of Suga\u2019s race day, there might be footage coming.
