(KWCH) &#8211; The Chanute Police Department is warning people to look out for wildlife after a reported bear sighting within the Chanute area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Those living in Chanute should use caution. If anyone sees a bear inside the city limits, they should not approach the animal and should instead immediately report it by calling (620) 431-5768.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When reporting the bear sighting, provide where the bear was seen and at what time, along with what direction the bear was heading. Local authorities will monitor the bear and protect the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No one should feed, follow or interact with the bear.
