\n\t\u201cSurvivor\u201d brought back the time-honored tradition of reuniting the cast for a live in-studio finale on Wednesday night, where it was announced that Aubry Bracco was the winner of \u201cSeason 50: In the Hands of the Fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Bracco learned she was taking home the $2 million dollar prize, host Jeff Probst<\/a> announced that Cirie Fields had won the $100,000 fan-favorite prize sponsored by Sia.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter that, Probst cued up footage from Season 51, which will debut this fall. Titled \u201cThe Open Era,\u201d the design of the season pulls heavily from \u201cSurvivor\u201d history: Every twist or advantage that \u201cSurvivor\u201d has ever introduced will come back into play. <\/p>\n

\n\tOnstage, with a laugh, Probst said idea behind \u201cThe Open Era\u201d is that anything \u201cthat has ever happened at any time on the show can happen in any season at any time in any order without any warning.\u201d He added that Season 51 has already been shot, and it\u2019s \u201cvery fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news caps off a landmark season for \u201cSurvivor,\u201d which has been on the air with Probst as host since 2000. As reported in Variety\u2018s recent cover story<\/a> about the show, it has been consumed for more than 700 billion minutes across its 50 seasons, or upwards of 1.3 million years.
