\n\tOn Wednesday night\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Late Show<\/a>,\u201d Stephen Colbert<\/a> was on the other end of \u201cThe Colbert Questionnaire,\u201d and he had an all-star lineup of guests to deliver the questions.<\/p>\n

\n\tJournalist John Dickerson introduced each guest as they appeared, and first up to bat was Billy Crystal. He asked Colbert, \u201cWhat is the best sandwich?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile \u201ca tomato sandwich\u201d was Colbert\u2019s favorite summertime snack, he added, \u201cThe rest of the year, wherever you are, hot pastrami on rye with a little bit of mustard, and if the guy behind the counter is willing, little coleslaw. And if it\u2019s not kosher deli, I\u2019ll take a little muenster on there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLater came Josh Brolin, who asked Colbert, \u201cWhat\u2019s the scariest animal?\u201d Colbert answered, \u201cThe scariest animal to me is a trapdoor spider. Little sand, nothing wrong. They come out, and they pull you back in. Here\u2019s the part that\u2019s even scarier than that, Josh Brolin. A scientist named a trapdoor spider after me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore leaving, Brolin gifted Colbert a ship in a bottle. It was engraved with the phrase, \u201cMay you always glide through life\u2019s sometime tulutous waters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMartha Stewart<\/a> followed Brolin. She asked Colbert if he preferred apples or oranges. Colbert responded, \u201cYou can\u2019t put peanut butter on an orange. So I\u2019m going to risk the wrath of the seraphim and say I will bite the apple.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMark Hamill came next. He asked Colbert, \u201cHave you ever asked someone else for their autograph?\u201d Colbert admitted he once asked Steve Martin for his signature when he came on \u201cThe Colbert Report.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAs part of it, we were talking about a painting, and we added to the painting a little cutout of Steve\u2019s head,\u201d Colbert recalled. \u201cAfter the show was over, I said, \u2018Would you mind signing this?\u2019 He signed across the top of his face, and I had it framed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA bit later, Ben Stiller<\/a> joined the show to ask Colbert about his earliest memory. Colbert said it was from his early childhood in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was born in Washington, D.C.,\u201d Colbert said. \u201cI remember, I have a memory of my mom on a short ladder with her hair in a little scarf. Either painting the bedroom brown, and it was blue, or it was blue, and she was painting it brown.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAubrey Plaza<\/a> came next. She asked Colbert to pick cats or dogs. Colbert gave a one-word answer: \u201cDogs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRobert De Niro<\/a> came shortly after. The two-time Oscar winner asked Colbert, \u201cWhat number am I thinking of?\u201d Colbert guessed three. De Niro quipped back, \u201cOkay. Cause I thought it would\u2019ve been 2.5 million. That\u2019s the number of Epstein files Trump still hasn\u2019t released.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOther guest stars included Weird Al Yankovic, Jim Gaffigan, Tiffany Haddish, Colbert\u2019s wife Evelyn, Amy Sedaris, James Taylor and Jeff Daniels.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe final episode of \u201cThe Late Show\u201d premieres Thursday, May 21.
