Before the Indiana Fever\u2019s 90-73 victory over the Portland Fire, Caitlin Clark appeared on the \u201cPost Moves\u201d podcast hosted by her teammate Aliyah Boston and WNBA legend Candace Parker, where she made a revelation that surprised her fans.<\/p>\n
The relationship between CC and rookie Raven Johnson has been under the microscope due to their history, but everything seems to indicate that it\u2019s all in the past.<\/p>\n
Clark doesn\u2019t hide what she thinks of Raven Johnson<\/p>\n
During the 2023 NCAA tournament, Clark\u2019s Iowa Hawkeyes faced the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Final Four, but what drew attention was Caitlin\u2019s dismissive gesture toward Johnson, urging her not to shoot. After this incident, the clip went viral, and, as Raven revealed, she suffered harassment and nearly quit basketball.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, this incident seems to be in the past after she was selected 10th overall in the 2026 draft by Indiana and joined Clark, as Caitlin confirmed in the recent episode of \u201cPost Moves.\u201d<\/p>\n
While discussing how Iowa defeated Aliyah, Raven, and South Carolina in that 2023 game where CC scored 41 points, Boston and Clark shared how, along with Johnson, they\u2019ve already moved past it and even joke about it, saying, \u201cGo Cocks!\u201d<\/p>\n
Along the same lines, Caitlin acknowledged that no one really knows other players until they become teammates, and a clear example of this is Johnson\u2019s arrival on the team, whom she praised:<\/p>\n
\u201cRaven\u2019s great. She\u2019s so fun, running in our locker room,\u201d Clark said of the Fever rookie. \u201cAnd she would say the same. It’s not like we’re all reminiscing on our collage days together like we have more importante things going on i guess, so i feel like we’d we probabley leave that behind” she added.<\/p>\n
During training camp, Johnson said that Clark helped her a lot in adapting to the professional level, and the Indiana point guard herself also publicly showed her support for the rookie at the start of the season.<\/p>\n
It also became clear that Johnson and CC have developed a much closer relationship since joining the same team, to the point that the rookie recently called the third-year point guard \u201cMamacita\u201d on social media\u2014a gesture that highlighted the good chemistry between the two players and confirmed that any past tension is behind them.<\/p>\n
On the court, while Johnson is beginning to earn significant minutes in the rotation of the team coached by Stephanie White, Caitlin remains the Fever\u2019s star player. The point guard is coming off a performance in which she led the team to victory over Seattle with 21 points and 10 assists, though she had to sit out the game against the Fire due to back discomfort.<\/p>\n
