Almost four months later, he has yet to meet the team\u2019s best player. <\/p>\n<p>Monken was asked at the team\u2019s organized team activities whether he has had a \u201cface-to-face with Garrett yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMyles?\u201d Monken asked, before answering, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Garrett has stayed away from the Browns\u2019 offseason program and has already lost $1 million for missing a mandatory minicamp last month. The team has another mandatory minicamp next month, which will cost Garrett another $107,911 if he misses.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 Defensive Player of the Year didn\u2019t participate in the Browns\u2019 voluntary offseason work last season before setting the NFL\u2019s official sacks record with 23.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Browns hired Todd Monken as their new head coach on Jan. 28.
