However, once the screen is fully extended, it takes on a form factor closer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_z_fold7-13826.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy Z Fold7<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The patent further mentions that the device could include sensors capable of detecting changes in display size, shifts in camera and antenna positions, and other hardware adjustments due to the moving screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"901\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1779430451_70_gsmarena_003.jpg\" alt=\"Samsung patent hints at a rollable phone with movable camera module\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Notably, Samsung showcased a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_showcases_a_124inch_rollable_oled_panel-news-58647.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">rollable OLED display prototype<\/a> in 2023 and had previously filed a patent in 2021 for a device featuring a display that could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_patent_shows_a_funky_device_with_a_rollable_and_foldable_display_with_adjustable_angle-news-52352.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">both roll and fold<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As with most patents, there is no guarantee the concept will make it to market.
