WASHINGTON, May 23 (Reuters) \u2013 Americans coming back from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda or South \u200bSudan now have a second \u200centry point for returning to the United States, with the CDC on Saturday expanding its enhanced Ebola screening to include Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta \u200cInternational \u200bAirport.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Hartsfield-Jackson has previously \u2060been used to \u2060screen passengers and has established operational procedures in place, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u00a0said.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Washington\u2019s \u200bDulles International Airport was designated this week to screen returning citizens for \u2060the Ebola virus.<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u2060Enhanced public health entry screening \u200bis one component of CDC\u2019s Ebola approach, \u200bwhich also includes overseas exit screening, \u200cairline illness reporting, and post-arrival public health monitoring.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The World Health Organization says 82 cases have been confirmed so \u2060far in the DRC, with seven confirmed deaths, 177 suspected deaths and almost 750 suspected \u2060cases \u200clinked to the Bundibugyo strain \u2060of Ebola.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Earlier this week, \u200bthe \u200cTrump administration banned non-citizens \u200bwho had \u2060traveled to the DRC, Uganda or South Sudan in recent weeks from entering the United States.<\/p>\n
