Authorities said the bear has not shown aggressive behavior.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has advised it will respond if the bear becomes a danger to the public. Until then, police urged residents to keep a safe distance, bring pets indoors and avoid approaching or attempting to follow the animal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said anyone who sees the bear acting aggressively or posing an immediate risk should call the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KVLY.
