Jordan Spieth and wife, Annie Spieth, are the proud parents of three kids. <\/p>\n
Jordan Spieth feels at home, quite literally, as the star surges up the Byron Nelson leaderboard with his wife, Annie (Verret) Spieth<\/a>, and family cheering on the golfer. Spieth is from Dallas, Texas and lives just minutes away from TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney where the Byron Nelson is taking place. <\/p>\n The golfer is climbing the leaderboard and heads into the weekend in contention to win the PGA Tour event. Spieth revealed more good news as the couple\u2019s kids are making a rare appearance at the course this weekend to cheer on their favorite golfer. <\/p>\n As Spieth plays in his hometown, the golfer admitted that the Byron Nelson is \u201cnot a normal week.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJust a lot of it just comes down to knocking in putts,\u201d Spieth told reporters<\/a> on May 22. \u201cIt felt good. I had a lot of family out today too. I certainly have that tomorrow (Saturday, May 23), and my kids will make an appearance this weekend, which will be fun because they don\u2019t come out very often.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I got to kind of see nieces and nephews in the crowd. It\u2019s not a normal week, and it\u2019s fantastic. Spieth headed into the third round six strokes back of leader Si Woo Kim following his blistering 60 in Round 2. <\/p>\n Fans can likely expect Spieth\u2019s wife, Annie, to also be in attendance if the couple\u2019s kids are in the golfer\u2019s cheering section. The couple has three kids: Sammy, Sophie and Sully. <\/p>\n Spieth and his wife welcomed Sully to the world on July 12, 2025. The golfer labeled his wife a \u201crock star\u201d following the birth of their third child. <\/p>\n \u201cMy wife\u2019s a rock star,\u201d Spieth said in August 2025, per Yahoo Sports.<\/a> \u201cAnd I\u2019m not \u2014 obviously a newborn\u2019s a newborn, but she\u2019s doing most all of the heavy lifting.\u201d<\/p>\n Jordan Spieth on Wife, Annie: \u2018My Wife Has Been Just a Rock to Me\u2019<\/p>\n Back in 2021, Spieth described Annie as his \u201crock\u201d amid the star\u2019s impressive career. Spieth has notched 13 wins, including three majors and earned more than $68 million<\/a> over his career. <\/p>\n \u201cMy wife has been just a rock to me,\u201d Spieth said at the time, per The Scotsman.<\/a> \u201c\u2026 I can pinpoint a number of different moments where I\u2019ve been in a bad place and then I can picture some moments where I\u2019ve been just talking so positively to her coming home and having her just help progress that forward.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s just given me a lot of space. I\u2019ve said, look, I\u2019m going to have to put some long hours in, even longer than when you\u2019ve known me before.\u201d<\/p>\n Jordan Spieth Is Surging at the Byron Nelson<\/p>\n Time will tell if the couple is able to celebrate another victory at the Byron Nelson. So far, the star is enjoying the course\u2019s new design<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s awesome,\u201d Spieth said of the transformation. \u201cI think the Tour\u2019s done a good job with the tee boxes on the par-3s because there\u2019s obviously a design element to it where it\u2019s not just like you\u2019re supposed to play the back of every box to every pin. <\/p>\n \u201cSo far they\u2019ve done a good job of creating some fun spots, and it looks like maybe No. 3 could be drivable or something like that.
