It was forming kind of big and like it was about to touch ground and tear things up,&#8221; Williams said.    The funnel cloud over Lehigh Acres was not the only one spotted this week. On Friday, neighbors captured footage of a wide funnel cloud, and another was seen near Edison Mall in Fort Myers.  Gulf Coast News Meteorologist Sara Blue explained the potential dangers of funnel clouds and emphasized the importance of taking precautions.  &#8220;Please make sure that you and your loved ones are staying safe by heading inside. The dangerous thing with this is the gusty winds in that funnel cloud aren&#8217;t just confined to the funnel cloud; it&#8217;s gusty all around that can pick up debris and throw something across the road, potentially creating damage,&#8221; Blue said.
