Although \u201cOff the Page!\u201d in The Magic of Disney Animation is not open yet, the characters that will be available are out roaming Animation Courtyard.<\/p>\n

Roaming Characters\"Although<\/a><\/p>\n

Each meet and greet space in \u201cOff the Page!\u201d represents a different stage of the animation process. Here is the list<\/a> of characters:<\/p>\n

Mulan\u00a0in Story<\/p>\n

Rapunzel\u00a0in Layout<\/p>\n

Chip n\u2019 Dale\u00a0in Hand-Drawn Animation<\/p>\n

Donald and Daisy\u00a0in CG Animation<\/p>\n

Goofy\u00a0in Lighting<\/p>\n

Stitch\u00a0in Effects<\/p>\n

And these are the characters we saw this morning, May 25! They were out and about in Animation Courtyard<\/a>, which opened as The Walt Disney Studios, last week.<\/p>\n

Most of the characters come out at the same time, but Rapunzel and Mulan do alternate.<\/p>\n

Several have also been out and about<\/a> in recent weeks in other areas of the park.<\/p>\n

The Magic of Disney Animation was an opening day Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios attraction. It originally offered a behind the scenes look at the Feature Animation building where classics like\u00a0Lilo & Stitch\u00a0were made. It also included the\u00a0Back to Neverland<\/a>\u00a0documentary short film\u00a0starring Robin Williams<\/a>\u00a0and Walter Cronkite and later the Animation Academy.<\/p>\n

The new version of The Magic of Disney Animation will be inspired by\u00a0Once Upon A Studio, a short film that honored 100 years of The Walt Disney Company. Animation Courtyard will become the Walt Disney Studios lot, inspired by the real lot in Burbank, California. Guests will enter a studio just as the animators have left and the characters have begun to come to life.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0new Animation Academy experience hosted by Olaf<\/a>\u00a0will be called Olaf Draws! It will have an Olaf animatronic and pre-recorded animator segments rather than a\u00a0live animator<\/a>. The Drawn to Wonderland playground will be inspired by Mary Blair\u2019s\u00a0Alice in Wonderland\u00a0concept art. Next door will be a\u00a0new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stage show<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
