\n\tThe CoPro Foundation has unveiled the lineup for this year\u2019s CoPro Market, with the 28th edition of Israel<\/a>\u2019s documentary co-production forum set to spotlight films centered on war, democracy, coexistence and identity.<\/p>\n

\n\tMore than 70 international<\/a> representatives from broadcasters, distributors, film funds and production companies are expected to participate online and in person during the June 8-12 event in Tel Aviv, which will showcase more than 40 Israeli documentary projects through pitching sessions, rough-cut screenings, one-on-one meetings and an industry conference organized with the Israeli Documentary Forum.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeveral of the headline titles directly address the political and social tensions shaping Israel and the wider region. The Future is Peace follows peace activists Maoz Inon and Aziz Abu Sarah as they attempt to sustain dialogue amid escalating violence and extremism, while Point of No Return: Israel at the Crossroads of Democracy centers on former Israeli general and politician Yair Golan who consistently challenged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s government and its war in Gaza. <\/p>\n

\n\tOther projects approach questions of coexistence and reconciliation through more personal stories. Dugri tracks the friendship between an Israeli educator and a Palestinian rapper whose activism is tested by war and loss, while Women of Peace follows Israeli and Palestinian women advocating for reconciliation despite growing hostility. Films including Druzeland and Shalom also examine identity and collaboration through character-driven narratives.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe market lineup also includes several films set outside the region and its political conflicts. What Are You Willing to Die For? goes inside the world of the first women\u2019s motorcycle championship, while Heart of the Storm explores storm chasing and emotional healing in America\u2019s Tornado Alley. <\/p>\n

\n\tA number of projects focus on women\u2019s stories and overlooked female figures. Esther examines the life and career of legendary singer Esther Ofarim, while I Am Eyes looks at the female soldiers whose warnings before the Oct. 7 attacks went unheard.The Fans Are Mine follows Israel\u2019s most famous OnlyFans creator as she navigates sexuality, family expectations and online fame. Other titles include The Woman in White, about diplomat and political operative Tamar Golan, and Out at Six, examining abusive relationships.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the more overtly geopolitical projects is The Plot Against the West, which investigates alleged links between anti-Israel protests in Europe following October 2023 and decades-long Soviet and Russian disinformation campaigns using anti-Zionist narratives to fuel instability in the West.<\/p>\n

\n\tFounded 28 years ago, CoPro has become a key access point for Israeli documentary productions seeking international financing and distribution partners.
