Kennedy remained quiet about his role in the panic until New York magazine\u00a0uncovered it, after which he\u00a0explained that he stumbled upon the dead cub during a falconing trip\u00a0in Goshen, NY<\/p>\n Initially, RFK Jr. assured the woman\u00a0who had\u00a0hit the bear cub with her car that\u00a0he had the situation under control.\u00a0He intended to put the carcass in his freezer and skin it, but ultimately opted to get rid of it instead.<\/p>\n
