A legal dispute involving competing Wisconsin morning radio personalities returned to court last week as a judge reviewed allegations of online harassment targeting a Green Bay radio host. According to a report from WBAY-TV<\/a>, an injunction hearing held Thursday examined a temporary restraining order requested March 23 by Natalie Jansen, an on-air host at Midwest Communications CHR station WIXX.<\/p>\n

The restraining order was filed against longtime Green Bay radio personality Richard \u201cOtis\u201d Dey, known on air as Otis Day, and Emily Chagnon following what authorities described as a weeks-long investigation into an anonymous social media campaign.<\/p>\n

At the center of the case is a now-defunct Facebook page that Jansen alleges harassed her and invaded her privacy. According to a sheriff\u2019s report, the investigation began after a photo of Jansen at Lambeau Field was posted online. Authorities said the Facebook page, which was created in April 2024 and later deleted, contained dozens of posts criticizing Jansen\u2019s on-air work and referencing personal matters, including her son and a custody dispute.<\/p>\n

Investigators reportedly used surveillance footage to identify Chagnon. Jansen and station management later reviewed station-managed Facebook accounts and discovered messages exchanged between Chagnon and Dey.<\/p>\n

The messages allegedly began in January 2024, when Chagnon sent Dey critical comments about WIXX along with screenshots of posts she made using both her personal account and what she described as a \u201cburner\u201d account.<\/p>\n

During last week\u2019s hearing, Dey admitted under oath that he lied to investigators when initially questioned about whether he knew Chagnon and about her alleged role in operating the Facebook page under an alias. \u201cI\u2019m a wimp, I don\u2019t know, I wish I would\u2019ve, I really do,\u201d he said when questioned about why he didn\u2019t tell Chagnon to stop the harassment.<\/p>\n

Day, a veteran Green Bay personality who in April parted ways with Woodward Communications<\/a> CHR \u201c95.9 Kiss-FM\u201d WKSZ, previously spent more than two decades at WIXX before departing in 2022.<\/p>\n

The dispute comes almost two years after a major shakeup in Northeast Wisconsin radio, which saw several WIXX hosts move to rival WKSZ, placing former colleagues on competing morning shows.<\/p>\n
