COLUMBUS, Ohio \u2013\u00a0Kickoff for Ohio State\u00a0Football’s\u00a0season\u00a0opener\u00a0against\u00a0Ball State\u00a0inside\u00a0Ohio Stadium\u00a0on Saturday, Sept.\u00a05 as well as\u00a0additional\u00a0game designations are set, as announced by the Big Ten\u00a0on\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0afternoon.\u00a0

\nKickoff for the home opener\u00a0for the 137th season of Ohio State\u00a0Football on Sept.\u00a05 is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.\u00a0and the game will be broadcast on\u00a0Big Ten Network.\u00a0

\nThe Buckeyes Week\u00a03\u00a0matchup on Sept.\u00a019 is set for Noon on FOX against Kent State. Additionally, homecoming is officially set to take place on October 10 against Maryland.\u00a0For a full list of homecoming festivities, visit\u00a0homecoming.osu.edu<\/a>.\u00a0

\nThis comes on the heels of the announcement of featured games\u00a0including a\u00a07:30 p.m. kickoff\u00a0on ABC at Texas in week two<\/a>\u00a0as well as\u00a0The Game set for a Noon kickoff on FOX<\/a>\u00a0on November 28 at Ohio Stadium.\u00a0

\nNotables\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n\tOhio State is 39-1 all-time vs. current members of the MAC\u00a0and is riding a 39-game unbeaten streak.\u00a0 <\/p>\n


\n\tThe Buckeyes\u00a0have\u00a048\u00a0consecutive wins\u00a0against teams from the state of Ohio, dating back to 1924.\u00a0 <\/p>\n


\n\tOhio State is on a 54-game unbeaten streak \u2013 53-0-1 with the tie coming in 1924 vs. Wooster, 7-all \u2013 against other Ohio universities since last losing to an Ohio school.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
