\n\tMatthew Perry<\/a>\u2018s live-in personal assistant was sentenced today to almost three and a half years behind bars for injecting the Friends<\/a> star with the three ketamine doses that killed him on October 28, 2023.<\/a> <\/p>\n

\n\tAlso hit with a $10,000 fine Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett, Ken Iwamasa is the fifth and final defendant in Perry\u2019s death<\/a> to be sentenced. Perry\u2019s pal since 1992, and his $150,000 a year right-hand man since 2022, 60-year-old Iwamasa was the last person the actor spoke to before he died. He was also , in August 2024, was the first defendant to cop a plea with the feds in the whole sordid matter. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast month, Jasveen Sangha A.K.A. the Ketamine Queen was handed a 15-year prison stint f<\/a>or supplying many of the drugs<\/a> that killed long time addict Perry. Before Sangha, two doctors and \u00a0Bel-Air treatment center program director\u00a0Eric Fleming\u00a0were given time behind bars for their part in the lucrative and illegal campaign to provide Perry with the drugs that eventually killed the 54-year old actor. \u201cIn October 2023, Sangha and Fleming sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine, which were provided to Kenneth Iwamasa, 60, of Toluca Lake, Perry\u2019s live-in personal assistant,\u201d the\u00a0Department of Justice in August 2025 revealed as a part of the Ketamine Queen\u2019s plea agreement.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn handing down Iwamasa\u2019s sentence today, the judge basically went along with the prosecution\u2019s recommendations. However, she did note of the defendant that \u201cthere is no hard evidence that you acted with malicious intent, though some would disagree.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAlso pointing to Iwanasa\u2019s close relationship with Perry and intimate knowledge of his drug and alcohol problems, Judge Garnett told the defendant today in DTLA that \u201cyour conduct was reckless, not just on the day of his death but in the days leading up to his death.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPerry was found dead in his Pacific Palisades\u00a0backyard hot tub after authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call from Iwanasa over the unconscious star. According to 2024 documents from the probe into Perry\u2019s death, the last words he spoke <\/a>were telling Iwanasa to \u201cshoot me up with a big one\u201d before getting in the hot tub.
