This week, Rachelle Mozman Solano films, cuts paper, and paints in the solitude of her Brooklyn studio of over two decades.<\/p>\n<p>Want to take part? All mediums and workspaces are welcome, including your home studio.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/RMS_Studio-view-1---Rachelle-Mozman-Solano.jpg\" class=\"kg-image\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1500\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>How long have you been working in this space?<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-three years.<\/p>\n<p>Describe an average day in your studio.<\/p>\n<p>I work on several projects at once but organize my days so I can shift into the different works. There is some transition time needed to change gears when switching projects. Sketching and writing helps a lot to organize. I usually begin time in the studio gathering my thoughts and looking through notes. I often listen to political interviews while working. It also depends what the work is, because there are times it can be too distracting.<\/p>\n<p>How does the space affect your work?<\/p>\n<p>My space is narrow and this has an impact on how large I can work. The narrowness determines if I need to rent a shooting studio when making video work where there are multiple characters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/RMS_studio-view-2---Rachelle-Mozman-Solano.jpg\" class=\"kg-image\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1401\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>How do you interact with the environment outside your studio?<\/p>\n<p>My studio is in Bedford-Stuyvesant near Pratt. I know there are many artists around, but I rarely run into people.<\/p>\n<p>What do you love about your studio?<\/p>\n<p>I love that over the years I have learned how to make the most of the space.
